The controls aren’t located directly on the hood but are instead situated on an innovative glass panel that can be folded in or out to any angle depending on your needs. So for example you don’t have to open the upper cabinet when using the hood. You can activate the hood simply by folding down the glass panel and deactivate it by folding the panel back up again. The same applies to switching the light on and off although you also have another option for controlling the lighting. When the hood is deactivated and the glass panel is folded up just touch the glass panel near the TouchSelect area and the light will switch on. Easy to cleanThe hood’s sophisticated design makes it easy to clean. Both the glass panel and the black hood and chimney have smooth uniform surfaces that are effortless to clean. Keeping the lower hood area clean is also easy. The screws are covered over making sharp-edged recesses a thing of the past. And you can simply wash the metal grease filter in the dishwasher. Metal grease filterDucted and recirculation hoods require metal grease filters to filter grease and other solid particles out of the extracted air. To keep these filters operating at maximum efficiency clean them about once a month either by hand or in the dishwasher. Correct installation of the integrated design hood minimises the penetration of steam and grease into the upper cabinet. The glass panel already protects the furniture panel from rising steam while also improving “enhanced vapour capture”. The L-shaped profiles on the sidewalls and an adjustable spacer on the rear furniture wall also prevent moisture and other substances from penetrating the furnitu
